Chess Set
€592,95 - €1.138,95
The substantial blacksmith-made Chess Set is a signature design of EHF. The set features unique, non-traditional chess piece shapes that have a fascinating blend of rustic and industrial appeal. Each chessman begins as a piece of 3/4" steel bar. The steel is heated to over 2,000 degrees and hammered into it's final shape using various tooling and hand techniques. Our multi-step finishing process gives you four beautiful patina options to choose from.
• Board is OPTIONAL
• Chess Pieces come with walnut storage box
• Choose (patina) Silver, Brass, Bronze or Whitewash vs Black
• The King towers over at 3 3/4", Queen 3 1/4", Pawns 1 3/4", Others 2 1/2"

Mathew has to be the most "hands on" hard working seller on the Etsy Forum! Plus he expedited the order to deliver these amazing chess pieces prior to the American Thanks Giving Holiday. Nice "heft" to these chess pieces! I am very pleased to have these very unique forged steel "rustic medieval" chess pieces. They look like they were forged by a black smith 500 years ago :)

Just arrived, my forged steel chess pieces and the chess board! The heavy figures feel very good and also have a good weight and the perfect size! Despite the straight, unfussy design, the figures can be easily distinguished! I decided on black and bronze as opposite colors and it was right! I'm very excited about my steel chess pieces! greetings from Hamburg Ronald F. Winkler

Beautiful set, very heavy & solid! There wasn’t enough of a contrast in the silver/black set I originally ordered, but Matthew was incredibly helpful and worked with me to solve this issue.
